The Bardic Picnic event has been funded by a series of ‘Grass roots’ grants from the Northampton Community Foundation (NCF).

The NCF is a charitable funding body that has been set up to fund community organisations specifically in Northamptonshire and we are extremely grateful for their support.

Apart from this support for the past three years, we have received from donations from people who regularly attend our monthly open-mic forum, ‘Raising the Awen’ and other smaller fund-raising events (such as last year’s Bardic Banquet at Northampton’s Labour Club).

Although the Bardic Picnic is a free community event we are grateful for any donations received so that we can make each year’s event bigger and better than the last. If you are interested in the Northampton Community Foundation’s work please follow the links.
