What a fantastic day we had at this year's Fourth Annual Bardic Picnic event! The Sun blessed us and a few or four or five hundred more came out to listen to Poets, Singers and Stortellers weave words and a new Bard of Northampton was found in Caroline Hussey Bain who at the last minute felt compelled to enter the contest and stole the crown from the other worthy contenders. As well as the contest local bands and other musicians poets and storytellers from near and far filled the English Garden of Delapre Abbey with wonderful words of Joy! Celtic Rasta headlined the day with a storming set of heartfelt roots reggae and we all tumbled into our beds...eventually! A MASSIVE thankyou to everyone who took part, helped the event happen and of course all of you who came and allowed us to entertain you, we will bein touch soon! Many blessings! WORD!!!!!
